Kuma was born in Malaga , between the sea and the mountains, where the paths wind through pine forests and the air smells of damp earth and salt.

It stems from my passion for nature, for the mountain biking trails and the hikes that have always been a part of my life. On every climb, on every dusty path, I found a way to disconnect, to feel free, and to find inspiration that eventually transformed into this brand.

But Kuma's story began much earlier, when he was a child.

I remember trips to Portugal, and how much I loved visiting a shopping center where I would have my picture taken with a giant teddy bear. That enormous, friendly bear remained etched in my memory as a symbol of tenderness and adventure. Over time, it became something more: the embodiment of that protective and free spirit that today gives this brand its name.

Kuma is more than just clothing. It's a reflection of that feeling you get from being in motion, breathing deeply, and feeling part of the landscape. Each garment is designed for those who love everyday adventure, for those who seek a space of calm and authenticity in nature.

From the beginning, I wanted Kuma to retain that simple and honest spirit: creating with purpose, leaving a light footprint.

It's not just about designing, but about sharing a way of life that is more connected to our surroundings.
